To perform successfully, businesses needs to constantly communicate direction and goals and I will position the solutions to meet them.
I am frugal problem solver, who keeps an open mind and is constantly looking to leverage best practices and technology trends. As technology evolves I am constantly learning and attempting to stay abreast of the curve. In fact, due to my temperament, I have always been called upon to perform product investigations and proof of concepts in almost every position I have held and have a unique ability to compare and contrast applications and technologies.

The Wordle shows the technology that I have implemented. I started many years ago as a pure programmer and followed the C -> C++ -> Java -> XML progression. I quickly found out that programs required data and picked up Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Sybase. Again normal progression, stand alone apps, client server, web, n-tier then web services.
Working for large companies, I politely learned how to cross boundaries. Boundaries can be a real hindrance so it's always best to learn how to navigate them. Some may say "Jack of all Master of none", but I prefer to think of it more as understanding the total picture. To implement and support solutions I have been the DBA, Web Master, Application Server Administrator and even Systems Administrator for both Windows and Unix Servers. This broad range of experience allows me to communicate from a position of knowledge with other groups and members of both the technical and business community (an important skill to have).
Over the last 5 years, my talents have been directed at application integration and larger systems like Documentum and Siebel although there always seems to be a need for customization or custom apps as well. I enjoy Content Management, CRM and Business Process Management and have implemented various taxonomies, workflows and lifecycles.
